Class notes: Week 2 – User-centeredness as an approach

We discussed in class key concepts from the readings in order to get the BIG PICTURE about user-centered, and more specifically, goal-directed design. They can be thought of as general approaches to design (and even life!), or as a process to be followed, that includes a set of design principles.

As soon as a student emails me the list of concepts we put on the board, I will paste it here.

Your TO DO list for Week 3 includes:

3.    Find ONE interesting blog related to class (besides UX Magazine) and subscribe to it; Also write a blog post about it: URL, what it is about, who authors it, why it is interesting

5.    Keep blogging & commenting – please consider blogging your take-away from class discussion (and including your concept map)
